COUNSELLING FOR CHILDREN & YOUNG ADULTS

Kind Counselling for you

Are you a young person struggling to figure stuff out?

Perhaps you’re an overthinker or feeling overwhelmed?

If this sounds like you, please know you’re not alone.

I have worked with children and young adults like you for a long time. This means that if you feel you’re on the outside looking in, or that everyone else is getting it when you just… don’t,

I understand.

It’s also why I’m here to listen, in a safe and confidential space. Because my experience has shown me it really does help to talk it out.

Self-esteem. Confidence. Low mood. Anxiety. Stress. Worries. Identity. Emotional regulation. Relationship issues. Family issues. LGBTQ. Self-harm. Exam stress. Suicidal thoughts. Social anxiety. Feeling lonely, overwhelmed or judged.

I understand how it can be tricky to talk to people close to you about some of these worries. This is why counselling can be so helpful.

What is Counselling?

Counselling takes place in a quiet environment with just you and your counsellor.

Most importantly, counselling is where you get to explore difficult thoughts, feelings and behaviours without judgement.

“Counselling is where you can feel truly listened to, heard, valued and respected.”

Sarah.

It’s tough being a teen!

If you’re struggling and want to know more, please don’t suffer in silence, get in touch.

Together, we can figure stuff out!

Your counselling sessions are completely private. Occasionally, with your agreement, a parent or guardian might also be invited into a session. This will be so they can support you outside the sessions to use helpful techniques and strategies.
