A little bit about me…
I’m Sarah!
I’m a level 5 Psychotherapeutic Counsellor at Kind Counselling on the Isle of Man. I’m accredited by The National Counselling Society and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Becoming a counsellor was a natural career progression for me. I have a background in psychology and have worked with young people supporting them in their emotional well-being for over twenty years.
This means I have first-hand experience of the impact certain life events can have on a person. Significantly, how they can carry into adulthood.
For this reason, to help on a deeper level, I decided to train as a counsellor and began practising at a local high school in 2017.
This, combined with my experience of counselling adults in a private setting has shown me a new direction.
My private practice at Kind Counselling was therefore born!
My ethos.
Throughout my own journey, what I have learnt is how important it is to normalise talking about how we really feel.
More than that, I believe finding the compassion, space and time to Be Kind to Yourself, is essential.
With Kind Counselling this is exactly what I set out to achieve. It is therefore a huge privilege to walk alongside you in a safe, non-judgmental and respectful way.
Your journey to identifying and realising your inner strengths and capabilities starts with a single step.
Reach out, I’m here to support and empower you along the way.
