“What I am is good enough if I would only be it openly.”
Carl Rogers
My mission is to create a warm and welcoming well-being ‘check-in’ space. One where you can learn the empowering value of self-kindness through safely exploring your true feelings.
Sarah Whitehead,
Psychotherapeutic Counsellor.
Hi, I’m Sarah!
I’m a level 5 Psychotherapeutic Counsellor at Kind Counselling. As well as being accredited by The National Counselling Society I’m also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This governing body recognises my qualification as accredited and of a high standard.
Reaching out and asking for help can be daunting. However, life presents us all with difficult challenges from time to time. If you’re currently struggling to navigate them, or the painful emotions they present, get in touch.
At Kind Counselling I believe it’s a huge privilege to be part of your journey. You can therefore always expect a warm welcome and a safe space.
My integrative, person-centred approach means your needs are precisely catered for too. Whatever life events, thoughts or feelings are impacting your well-being, Kind Counselling offers a trusting, confidential, one-on-one environment where you can explore them fully.
“I believe reaching out and asking for help will be one of the bravest and most empowering things you ever do.”
Sarah.
Kind Counselling practises Integrative Counselling.
What is this?
Counselling is a talking therapy that helps if you’re struggling emotionally.
Integrative Counselling takes a flexible approach. This means I combine many different schools of therapeutic thought. I am therefore trained to draw on a wide range of skills. These are then fitted to suit you.
What this means is that when we work together, your needs always take centre stage.
